About

Hi, I'm Lindsey and I’m an Associate Gameplay Animator at Insomniac Games working on Spider-Man 2! Previously, I was at Infinity Ward and contributed to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone.

I am experienced in keyframe animation, motion capture clean up, and the implementation of gameplay animations and cinematics in-engine.

Below, you can find my resume, education/experience history, and a list of my technical skills.

In 2015, I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in Film and Electronic Arts with an emphasis in Cinematography. I worked on many film sets as a Production and Camera Assistant for about a year after I graduated college and learned so much about how to work in a team environment with multiple departments and under hectic schedules. I met a ton of incredible, hardworking and creative individuals and their passion for filmmaking reminded me of what I really, really loved: video games!

In some of my hardest times, video games were what got me up in the morning or what helped me get through the day. So I could play that certain game and immerse myself in a completely different world and spend time with characters that inspired me to push forward. The interactivity and storytelling of games is unlike any other medium and to be able to contribute to that experience for anyone else drives me to work that much harder.

So after a short quarter-life crisis of realizing that I got a 4 year degree in something I didn’t want to do anymore, I made a new game plan for how to get into the video game industry. I eventually ended up learning 3D Character Animation at AnimSchool under their Game Animation program and graduated with a certificate of completion in October 2018.

Which leads me to where I am now: working in my dream industry and helping contribute to the same kinds of experiences that shaped who I am today.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I’d love to connect with you.
